FAQ

I lost the front and/or rear cap for my PMVND Edition II filter, and I don’t see spares on your site. Where can I get a new cap?

We have spare caps available to order on request. If you send a quick email to support@polarpro.com, our team will be happy to help you get an order set up.

Can I stack a polarizer filter with a PMVND?

No. Separate polarizers and VNDs will interfere with each other if stacked. We make a hybrid VND/PL filter (link) designed to overcome this interference.

Can the PMVND filters be adapted to work with the Helix MagLock Base Plates?

No. The PMVND Edition II filters are not MagLock-compatible.

Which filters do the PMVNDs stack well with?

The PMVNDs stack well with Mist, Blue/GoldMorphic, and fixed ND filters.

Are the VND/PLs compatible with stock lens hoods?

No. VND filters contain two glass elements rather than one, so they need to be made wider than other filters to minimize vignetting. As a result, they’ll generally prevent stock lens hoods from fitting.
