Never Thread A Filter Again

We’re making the drag of threading filters a thing of the past, and the latest product collaboration with Shortstache combines 2 of our most popular filters into one. Garrett King’s staple Everyday Filter features our latest Chroma series polarizing glass, a 1/4 Black Mist and is sure to be called upon everyday by all photographers and videographers with built-in NDs. The Polarizer delivers dynamic color with glare and reflection control, which is complemented by a subtle softness that the Black Mist diffusion provides in the highlights for cinematic character.

FAQ

Is the Everyday filter also a polarizer, or does that only apply to the Mist-PL?

Both the Everyday and the Mist-PL filters are chroma polarizers.

Can I stack my Shortstache filter with a VND?

No, separate VNDs and polarizers will interfere with each other if stacked.

Do you offer a standalone, non-polarized black mist filter?

Not at this time.

Will the 49mm Shortstache filters + 49mm Fuji Adapter make my camera weatherproof?

Not weatherproof, no. The filter and adapter will inherently add some weather-resistance to the camera lens though, since they'll create a barrier between the lens and any rain or debris that might hit it.

What lens cap do you recommend?

The threaded Shortstache filters will work with many stock lens caps. The Helix versions come with a dedicated magnetic cap.
