This is the 6th generation of the LiteChaser phone case which the team and I spent all year on making exceptional for professional photographers and videographers. The filter and lens mounting system remains unchanged as everyone loved the simplicity and security of it on LiteChaser 15.

New for the LiteChaser 16 is an embedded cold shoe mount to provide a rock solid mounting point for our Tripod Adaptor or any Cold Shoe Platform. Ideally this is a great way to lock down arms when using as a monitor or B-roll camera, that does not rely on magnets.

The design team and I took all feedback from last year and increased MagSafe strength even more, switched to fully sealed buttons, and finally made the defender plate flip down for the ability to quickly take images or use the flashlight.

The grip mounting point is placed perfectly for your finger to hit the camera control button while shooting vertical.

When fully rigged out with the grip and tripod mount, the system has six 1/4 20 attachment points which is designed to replace minimalist cage builds. You can fit an SSD mount on the back, Microphone or light on the top, mount to a gimbal on the bottom, and have 2 extra mounting points to get wild with.

Is the LiteChaser 16 compatible with LiteChaser 15 Filters and Adapters? 

Yes, both systems uses the same locking rail system

Will the Cold Shoe mount work with other mounts?

Yes, it is a standard cold shoe mount. Our Mounts are the only ones guaranteed to lock down

Will the phone charge wirelessly with the cold shoe inside the MagSafe?

No, the aluminum cold shoe blocks the wireless charging, it had to be placed in that area for balanced mounting. The BaseCase is for those who prefer wireless charging over mounting with the cold shoe platform.

Will my MagSafe Mounts work?

Yes, the magnetic connection works and is 2X stronger than the LiteChaser 15.

Is the grip permanent?

No you can remove it by depressing the release button and sliding it off.
